It's crazy to think back over this last year and to see how our lives have changed. It all began with a visit to the doctor and a text to friends and family.

We had planned for this but had no idea what was in store for us. At our next appointment, we were not prepared to find out the gender of the baby since it was still very early, but when the sonographer asked if we wanted to know I yelled, "Yes!"

At our monthly doctor's appointments, we had a sonogram each time. Shane & I were always anxious to see if this would be the time that she decided to show us her sweet little face...but no. She wanted to make a dramatic entrance into this world with plenty of anticipation so she hid as best she could. Then for Christmas, I received a gift to get a 3D sono from Shane so we could hopefully get that first glimpse of our daughter. We had to try three different times, but finally got a few blurry but decent pics. It was the best Christmas present we both could have asked for!
