When we went to the grocery store this week, Hattie decided to throw a fit as we pulled up. She did not want to be in the car seat anymore and so we decided on the spot to try sitting her in the cart seat. She was a little wobbly at first, but loved it! She liked being able to look around and see what there is to see. For the most part, I didn't help her at all and as long as she was holding on, she sat up all on her own. (Side note: I have a cart cover, but was unprepared to use it today. I scrubbed her hands when we got in the car and again when we got home since they are always in her mouth and that cart is nasty. But, she lived.) The best part of the trip, other than how cute she looked, was having more room in the cart to actually shop!
