One Year Pictures

Hattie's one year pictures matched her party theme: Pink Lemonade. Jena Bridges did a wonderful job again. I am so happy with how they turned out! Hattie is so stinking cute!!! She did great, as usual, and suffered through several outfit & set changes easily. I kept her baby comb in my back pocket and kept visiting the bathroom to rewet her hair in hopes of keeping it somewhat under control. It's kind of nuts right now. She was a little sleepy because she refused to take a nap, but she laughed when we made a stuffed animal say, "AFLAC!" and we got some great shots of her smiling. When she bit into the lemon, she didn't even make a face and seemed to like it. At the end, she dug her hands right into the cake and was a bit timid at first, but ended up squeezing big handfuls of icing and tasting it with delight. She never cried and ate quite a few bites of cake. She was on a bit of a sugar high afterward and giggled while I cleaned her up and all the way home. She's definitely her mama's girl. She loves chocolate!
