Today was Hattie's 4 month doctor's visit. Our pediatrician recently had her first baby so she was out on maternity leave. Instead, we saw a nurse practitioner. Both she and the nurse were very nice. Hattie had to get another round of vaccinations which was a little rough but not too bad since she recovers quickly. She weighed in at 13 pounds and 7 ounces and is 23 3/4 inches long. Her head measured 15 3/4 inches. We go back in two months for her 6 month check up. In the meantime, we will visit with a pediatric ophthalmologist to see about her left eye being a bit turned in still. She will continue with just breast milk until her 6 month birthday when we will begin to introduce solids.

Her 4 month report was good. Hopefully you can get an appointment with the ophthalmologist soon. We sure enjoyed our visit with you all on Wednesday night. Hattie is such a squishy sweet baby and I could hold her for hours. Love from Grandlady!
